Do you know the story of the Croat hill in Magdeburg? Some croat artillery men took a bet with general Tilly that they’d be able to shoot one of the tips of the Cathedral off.So the legend has it at least 😄

Oh that’s VERY interesting!
After what I read I came to the opinion that if there was a vampire it was papenheim 😄 his regiment was way worse than any other participant on this. Though I think I remember it having also croat soldiers.

Didn’t expect to see my hometown mentioned on bluesky today!
I’m so happy to see some attention to the Magdeburg wedding. I always dreamed of doing some webcomic about it actually since it’s a terrible story worth telling. This is one of the very early concept artworks I made about it
