Plus my link to the 128km Terrey Hills radar they had is now busted and the "new look" one is shit
Like anyone who gets talked up by middle management: stole the idea
AI is ready to join the C-suite
An OpenAI executive said GPT-5 found solutions to 10 "previously unsolved" math problems when in reality all it did was find online references to places where people had already solved them

OpenAI’s ‘embarrassing’ math | TechCrunch
No, GPT-5 did not solve a bunch of previously unsolved math problems.

Relationships are about compromise.
She wanted a cat, but I hate cats.
So we compromised, and got a cat.

This remains the funniest way to hear about an internet outage, though.
It's a public* statement about how their rain is so much better than the rain "over east".

"eating a succul-"
Nope. Stopping there.

The cybertruck is a massive men's rights win. Finally a car that she won't take in the divorce.
This is why middle managers love AI - they cannot grasp the concepts of talent, experience, or skill.
It’s tiresome at this point, but again, their entire pitch is “wouldn’t it be great if there were no such things as talent, craft, and skill,” and what that means is a bland, slop-filled world. www.businessinsider.com/marc-andrees...
Why the fuck does Danny Weidler have to put the back of his head on camera?
Why?
🤣 that was my daughter ,👀

But I'll try that out on the wife !
Given the PW2 is only a couple of weeks old (replacement under warranty for the PW1) and the replacement HVAC only a week older than that, I'm still learning the parameters.
Having app control of the HVAC is marvellous tho - I can convince everyone the AC is working just by turning the fan speed up!
Oh yeah. Her words "We bought a bloody air con so why not use it?"
And I gave the very middle-aged response of "Take your jumper off and cool down from outside before you go burning money!"
If I let the rest of the household dictate usage we'd be up over 40 easily e.g. daughter unit just got home from her 2nd HSC exam. She walked about 2km from school in her school jersey on a 33C day.
Punches the air con straight on and, despite being a new and relatively efficient unit, we're > 6kW
She's a shill for Big Gas.
Or Big Cooktop.
I can never figure out who is funding her...
Suffice to say if that ever changed, I'd be going grande on the kW/kWh
(gas cooktop and gas instantaneous HWU also masking some of the need. Wife will commit atrocities before she even*thinks* about induction)
That's between $16-20k bad on quotes I've had recently. Battery rebates being a large part of the saving up front rn.
I'm not looking to corner the market or grab huge profits or anything; just want to get to $0.
Average consumption is about 21kWh daily. Back to back cloudy days are the pain point
Giving them strong consideration, but concerned I need more PV to make it juicy enough.
Currently 5kW generation capacity hooked up to a PW2 (13.5kWh). Thinking another 5kW on the roof would make it work.
