Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

I've been saying this for years. If he didn't intend to instigate an attack on the Capitol, if he didn't want it to happen, then why didn't he try to stop it immediately after it started. Why did he wait over two hours to make any attempt to stop it.
Smith: He was getting calls from people he trusts, people he relies on—and he still refused to come to the aid of the people at the Capitol. That’s very important evidence for criminal intent in our case.

Oh my God. This is awful. When he stopped in the middle and swore to try to keep himself from crying I had to stop watching for a minute to stop myself from crying.
