No wonder we took so long trying and failing to get Sesko to sign. We kept offering him a pen, he kept refusing to take it.
That defeat to Villa was without Saliba and Gabriel, and with Merino up front. We still had more possession, more shots, etc. We’ll only be stronger tomorrow.

One reason signing Madueke made sense is that he absolutely eats up the space when we’re 1 or 2 up and the opposition has to attack. But we persist with hammering Saka’s hamstrings when he looks like he doesn’t want to sprint.
