No wonder we took so long trying and failing to get Sesko to sign. We kept offering him a pen, he kept refusing to take it.
What’s with that Moth/7amkickoff person posting sensationalist and misleading stuff then blocking people who dare to reply with a bit of context?

There you go, Rooney admitting he dived. There’s no statute of limitations — cancel the result, get the players back on the pitch, finish that game, and get us that 50th invincible game.

This, still.
I know they lost two games quite tamely, but there’s elements of this City team that look like they could be quite consistently good. Mainly Haaland, but also others.

The real winners this weekend are Liverpool.
November 9, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Liverpool currently below Chelsea, Sunderland, Spurs, Villa, Utd.

Doku’s one of those players who’s either anonymous or brilliant, and the commentators only notice the latter.

Arne Slot complaining that the two halves of the game were played too close together.

Wirtz has the look of someone who’d welcome a return to a different league. It will be interesting to see if he does start to settle into this one.

Two really lucky goals and an extremely generous disallowed goal (and penalty!).
November 9, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Wow, that’s an appalling decision. He is not even a little bit in the eye line of the keeper, and he doesn’t impair his dive.
November 9, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Liverpool look like a team capable of being heavily beaten.
November 9, 2025 at 5:08 PM
I’d take a really unimpressive red-card-laden Liverpool win today.
November 9, 2025 at 4:48 PM
Some performative acrobatics from Van Dijk there.
November 9, 2025 at 4:46 PM
Both of these sides look rattled. Liverpool have an arrogance that doesn’t match their ability.
November 9, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Newcastle two points above relegation zone…

24: the number of letters in the two Goalkeeper surnames in the Liverpool-Man City game.

So there’s a rumour that City’s charges will be resolved/announced this interlull. I suspect a small points deduction, followed by an immediate City appeal, which will take another year to be resolved, and somehow end up with City being awarded additional points.

Preventing a clear goalscoring opportunity (a short-range shot at goal) with an elbow to the head that required lengthy treatment is surely at least something to be considered a possible penalty.

The referee performance yesterday could be used for future referee training sessions as a ‘how not to cede to the crowd’ lesson.
November 9, 2025 at 11:30 AM
The fact that we’re all so pissed off after a perfectly reasonable away draw with a depleted squad shows just how much we can’t tolerate anything below perfection after three 2nd place finishes. This season it feels like we don’t just need to win the league, but we need to run away with it.
November 9, 2025 at 11:25 AM
So, so close to perfection between the interlulls.
November 8, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Had to miss the match today. Now I’m doubly pissed off because I don’t really want to watch MOTD.
November 8, 2025 at 8:12 PM
The one game we concede a goal and it’s the one where literally all our strikers are injured.
November 8, 2025 at 6:23 PM
He deliberately uses his arm to get to the space and he fouls Merino.
November 8, 2025 at 5:40 PM
That’s a foul 🤷
