Jets of water with varying configurations. In this picture there are 4 vertical spouts in front and a spout arcing from the back toward the front. The fountain is in a raised pool on a level between the lower front steps and the front entrance of the Philadelphian. The picture was taken from the sidewalk looking up and to the right. Also visible are the top of one of the railings for the lower stairs, the left staircase leading up to the entrance, the concrete wall in front of the fountain pool which has large dark brown letters spelling out "THE PHILADELPHIAN" (all caps) and "2401", the columns of the front entrance, a little bit (in shadow) of the entrance itself, and off to the right a tree and more of the building.

White stone statue of a crouching man with a bowl and part of another tool not visible in the picture. His right knee is sticking out to his right at about the same height as his right elbow. His left knee is on the ground. The left arm is almost straight down from the shoulder. His right arm is straight down from the elbow, which is resting on the top edge of the slanted bowl. His right wrist is bent and his hand is wrapped around the bottom edge of the bowl. The handle of the other tool is visible between his left leg and arm. He is looking down. The picture was taken from below and slightly to the right. Also visible are a black utility pole to the left, tree leaves, and a light blue sky.

Small bronze statue of a barefoot girl in a long flowing dress holding an upside-down duck against her left thigh. The girl is walking toward the camera, her left leg in front. She is looking down toward the duck, pointing to the right with her right hand which is level with her right hip. There are fish head spouts around the circular base which were not spouting when the picture was taken. Also visible in the picture are the water and rear wall of the Rittenhouse Square Fountain in which the statue stands, and on the other side of the wall lamp posts, trees, and buildings.

Abstract patterns of light and dark on the under side of the awning at 3601 Market, which are constantly changing. This is a context shot taken from the sidewalk East of the building looking up the hill. The art is mostly in the upper left quadrant of the picture. Also visible are bushes in planters, the sidewalk, leaves of trees, a covering over the sidewalk West of the awning, a couple of people past that, parts of 3601 and another building on the right side of the picture, and a sliver of the street on the left.

The fountain is flat, with no pulsing water, maybe 3 feet tall, 10 feet wide, and very long. The picture is taken from the West end, centered on the water spilling over onto the ground to be recirculated. The library across the street at the other end as well some sky and trees and a pole are reflected in the water and are visible at the top of the picture. Also visible are pavers around the fountain, some low flat benches, a person in a red jacket with a white bag over their shoulder walking away from the camera East on the Parkway, cars, and a couple of other pedestrians across the street at the far end.

Small relief raven in the center of a metal gate with an art deco pattern of black lines radiating out from it. The gate is directly over a reflective glass door which is reflecting the house across the street and the photographer. The raven and the edges of the door are a brass or bronze color, possibly from wear. the raven's body is facing to the right and its head is pointed to the left. Not shown here are two stone relief ravens over the top corners of the door. The assessment that these are ravens, and not crows, is based on the slightly hooked beak and the straight tail feathers.
