The Great Barrier Reef is a global icon & national treasure, but it's also a frontline casualty of climate change. What happens to the Reef is a warning signal for marine ecosystems globally. We still have time — but only if we act now.

New paper in Ecology & Evolution: analysed 187 species of rays & skates to explore patterns of sexual size dimorphism. Turns out SSD in rays doesn’t follow the same rules as in sharks.
