I love @astro.build and have been using it on every new project for the past couple of years.

But goddamn I wish it had an alternative templating language not based on JSX.

Check github.com/vuejs/router... and give it a try!
Merge unplugin-vue-router by posva · Pull Request #2603 · vuejs/router
This merges unplugin-vue-router into vue-router with minimal breaking changes. The goal is to release a v5 that is the closest possible to vue-router 4 to ease migration, then release a v6 that has...

the anthropic drama (tl;dr they blocked third party tools from using claude code subscriptions) is a useful reminder that you use LLMs at the pleasure of the companies providing them

sounds obvious but despite all the AI discourse, i don't see a lot of people talking about the consequences of this

Obviously. It's intended to capture more private data for free.

Pretty amazing that an exec of a big tech corp would say this out loud.

"in CES 2025 we were all about AI but a year later we figured out maybe consumers kinda hate AI"

Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software.

Just fuck you. Fuck you all.

I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

@bsky.app needs a complete rebrand. New name, new brand, and new icon.

Even ignoring the political stuff... the whole brand is just super generic and has zero appeal.

yea. i wish bluesky branding could somehow climb out of that hole but i don’t see how at this point
I'm in the same boat! Some of my friends are interested in an open internet but are turned off by the "Bluesky branding" which they perceive as lefty and toxic. IMHO, the @atproto.com ecosystem would really benefit by having a more agnostic creation/login flow that doesn't mention Bluesky anywhere.

It also created as much carbon pollution as New York City, according to a new study.

Is there any Wifi mesh system that can be fully configured WITHOUT a mobile app?

Or at least a mobile app that doesn't require to create an account?

Apparently someone at Apple is pissed people aren't updating to Tahoe.

It looks like these updates below would update Sequoia, right?

But if you click on the ⓘ button it shows it will actually install Tahoe.
