The ramifications of gamergate remain hard to believe
Can I throw in some Matthew 25:41-46?
Does it count people who refund it? I could see that influencing things.
Seems like poor sense of risk is a strong through line here.

Not excited that these are the people working in our military.
Have had a lot of fun with this in Brawl on Arena.
My one big complaint is that for some reason Frogmite is a mythic on arena!
I refuse to spend a mythic wildcard on a common that I have tons of in paper (drafted a bunch of Mirrodin) and that I assume will eventually get added as a common later.
Ah the classic anime/JRPG experience of having a group of attractive adult characters with an seasoned older mentor. Then you find out that the mentor who they were joking about being "old" is only 20 and these characters who look like they are in college or older are supposed to be 15 to 17.
thinking less trippy and more surreal, like superliminal or maybe antichamber
So the idea of an FPS (or TPS, it keeps changing) inside an Inception style fever dream where the random doors open out of nowhere and the overall geometry doesn't make sense could be really cool. But, when done intentionally, and as an actual game.
So, are we okay with an opponents Yavimaya helping you cast a Kitchen Finks in your RW deck?

Personally, I'm for keeping the rule the same, but I was also for keeping "damage on the stack." It changed and the game moved on, in some ways a bit better, in other a little worse, but still fun.
But it made color identity a more important restriction. I think Hybrid would be less divisive in a world where the deck restriction was based more on what mana you are able to generate and less on the literal colors of your cards.
This now means that you can use treasure and lands like city of brass to tap for colors outside your commander's identity, possibly to pay for costs of cards you steal.
An example for commander that affects this: when colorless was made its own mechanical thing comander changed its rules for mana. Before if you tried to add mana outside your color identity you got colorless. Once that wasn't always a drawback they removed it.
When they removed "damage from the stack" for being unintuitive there was debate about if it was needed, but also, it created new issues that they have been addressing since. Not saying it was a bad idea, just that any change has consequences.
You have this issue with the rules for actual magic all the time. People complaining that certain interactions are unintuitive and it should be easy to change. People don't agree, and some changes are much more possible than others.
At its core, the problem hybrid brings up is that there is no single way to make commander "make sense" to everyone. For example, 2 of these cards can be played in a UG deck and 2 can't, and you can find arguments for or against each.
They are asking people to pay to access a site where all the content on it was provided by users for free.
At issue here is that what is intuitive is not uniform.
"You can cast this only using green mana, why can't I put it in my mono green deck?"
"This card is literally red and green, why can I put it in a mono green deck?"
Both are completely reasonable thoughts. Either way, someone will be confused
Also, who is paying for it currently? The government is currently shut down. We are not paying civil servants, military and police, and park services. Who is paying the people demolishing the east wing of the white house?
I completely agree, but I also feel this might kick the can down the road and lead to other confusion. Have they said how they are handling phyrexian mana? People thinking you can run Firespout in mono red? The battlemages from invasion.

But, at the end of the day, it's not a big deal.
And making Magic follow the rules of commander. Now all formats have to deal with white card advantage when that was often one of the main things holding it back in 1v1 20 life formats. Red cards often are costed assuming your opponent will regularly start at 40 life.
I help set up smart devices for clients with disabilities, and some are genuinely very helpful for them, but it has also convinced me that unless I physically need voice control for lights and stuff they are more trouble than they are worth.

Internet went out, now your ceiling light won't turn off.

The Democrats need to get a hell of a lot of cameras on the White House and plaster the photos everywhere. It's not just the brazen symbol of a megalomaniac destroying national heritage; it's happening during a government shutdown when ordinary people aren't getting paid. Make every American see it.

Disabled people should be allowed to get married without losing our healthcare. We shouldn’t have to choose between weddings and staying alive. In 2025 we still have no marriage rights or property rights. We never have, and it’s total shit. Fuck Eugenics, we deserve so much better.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
I mean, it is technically possible if drug companies were willing to pay us for buying their drugs.
Great art, but doesn't really look like an 0/4. Too angular and fluid.
I wonder if it was originally for a 3/2 or something similar.
