Es triste el fenómeno de escritores que te piden que te suscribas a su newsletter porque sus textos lo valen y es verdad que sí, y mucho, pero acompañan su trabajo de imágenes generadas con IA y no caen del guindo en que los ilustradores y fotógrafos son autores también que merecen remuneración

Yesterday, I attended an info session for a course for the unemployed. I had to fill out some personal info, took an easy test, and had a 20-minute interview. Again, not for a job, but for a course for the unemployed.
And we have to wait to check if we're accepted. This shit is crazy 🙃

En mi casa se creen que terminar el doctorado = automáticamente tener trabajo.
No sé ya cómo explicar las cosas. Encima este año han dejado de convocar una beca -en otro campo que me interesaba- y lo tenía como una opción más a poder hacer algo. ¿Una puerta se cierra pero otra se abre? ¿Dónde?
