I don’t know if I will ever get to a point where I won’t think humans are trash for how they treat people who are different. Humans have ruined too many other humans, the way no one gives a fck about anyone but themselves is depraved and exhausting.

Oh nothing, just realizing I was never “fat”, I just had body dysmorphia because society was constantly telling me that everything that I was not was the standard. Humans are so fucked.

I think we need to start referring to all disorders as survival disorders.

I have no issue with the word disorder because I see it as a descriptor, not a moral judgment. But I think we need to start acknowledging that "disordered" behaviors...

As someone with a late diagnosis I would argue that for me personally, it’s been the exact opposite of a superpower; I consider it a curse and a burden to myself 😭

I really dislike the whole "autism is a superpower" framing because it completely ignores the disabling aspects of it, but also because it feels like when people say that, they're humoring us rather than celebrating us.
