Just an FYI: the Danish minister says the meeting in the White House with his colleague from Greenland DID NOT contain any form of agreement to work on plans for the US to take over Greenland.

It’s the same issue in Greenland: there are minerals and oil, but EVERYTHING has to be boated or flown in, there’s currently NO industrial infrastructure, and it’s HARD work in unpleasant temperatures. All that and then the environmental impact means it’s a non-starter.

All this to say; The US representatives better bring a good translator for themselves if they want to speak with the people of the country they’re trying to take over.
I just wanna point out that the official language in Greenland is Greenlandic, which has 3 dialects so different from each other they could be classified as individual languages.
The second language of most Greenlandic people is Danish.
The third language is English.
