I'm so worried that I'm becoming complacent. They started generating slop articles based off my work and I don't even have the energy to fight it, just to make sure my name isn't attached to it.

this weekend I went to a local craft fair and felt good about supporting human artists.
one of the vendors -a typographer and graphic designer- gave me a free sticker with my purchase. cool!
I got home, took a look at it. AI slop.

Plus if you’re *pushing* your team to use AI and not seeing productivity gains or real impact, that just means you DO NOT NEED IT and could stop using it at any time. You’re just choosing to feed the machine that makes the world worse because fuck everyone else I guess?
