Went to a little Christmas village thing in my tiny small town. Most booths were 3D printed dragons and laser cut signs. When I found people who actually designed and crafted their goods by hand I was elated. Got some things for my ma & mother in law that I know they’ll appreciate!

Four years ago today my big brother passed away. It seems like yesterday in some ways and in others it feels like ages. Days will go by without me thinking of him, and then I will and I’m instantly crying. Grief still feels new to me. I’m still learning to process it.

Feeling pretty good about my Christmas shopping. I’m mostly done! I just need to figure out something homemade for my mom. I can try my hand at rudimentary clay and embroidery projects. But idk what to do yet. She’s a big crafter and can make herself almost anything she wants. So what am *I* to do 😓

Just rolled credits on The Outer Worlds 2.
I felt that a lot of the personality and charm that I loved so much about the first game were missing here. My dream sequel ended up being pretty disappointing. Lots of changes I don’t like, but I understand I’m probably in the minority with that.

💯 One of my favorite games of all time.
Outer Worlds 1 is a top tier game. If you enjoy Fallout, but especially New Vegas, it’s a must-play. No question. Complete edition is on sale for $15 on PS and Switch both right now. Not sure about Xbox or PC, but the standard version that’s not remastered is on game pass.

Really enjoying The Outer Worlds 2 so far, despite some issues on PS5. The radio is absolutely my favorite addition. Haven’t met all the companions yet, but I find myself missing The Unreliable and its crew often. Very happy there’s a third person option, just wish there was a photo mode!

I have to say, this second Kirby Air Riders presentation very likely sold me on the game. Probably not day one, but I'm so impressed with how much they packed into it. The photo mode, machine customization, Road Trip, and free roam in City Trial all won me over. That was quite the showcase.
