It's also time to stop tacking on "here's why" to the end of essay titles, like it's a selling point that you explain things. that's the bare minimum of what an essay does?? it's like every item on a restaurant menu ending with "for you to eat"

That's interesting, I was thinking those lines are meaningless but for the opposite reason -- of COURSE I'll remember what you were talking about earlier because I assume your essay has a through line and/or a deliberate structure. If it doesn't, why am I watching it
