This is really interesting. I've been trying to read more about it but I can't really find anything. The closest comparison I can think of is how the Game Boy Colour can allow a larger palette depending on how sprites are drawn. Other consoles can probably do it as well.

This game looks really cool! I hadn't heard of it before. It does look a lot like the 2.5D Pokemon games like X/Y had so I can see why people make the association.

On top of this, I'd recommend a Firefox add on Copy Alt Text if you need to copy the same text to different social media feeds. Of you're copying to a blog post you may need to edit the alt text depending on context so it's not redundant.

I prefer the pixel graphics and think GameFreak could explore more game mechanics and story with greater freedom without the pressure to innovate with 3D all the time which ends up with large empty glitchy worlds. When people say let's go back, it doesn't mean go 100% back. It's not all nostalgia.

I was pretty young when manga was just starting to appear in my country so celebrity created manga wasn't even on my radar. In fact until I read this article I didn't even realize it was possible. 😅

I didn't realize this manga was so unpopular, I owned the original manga and got it for the artwork (I liked the cover). I remember the story didn't make much sense and I got a slightly off vibe from it but couldn't figure out why. This makes so much sense in retrospect knowing how it was made.

The article and video are effectively the same (the article is a transcript of the video). I just noticed a few people asking online what some characteristics of PC98 art is so I think it's helpful to those who might not have an art background or looked too much into the technical specs.

I may not have had any Tamers toys but I had a transforming Gabumon to Metalgarurumon and my sister had an Agumon to Wargreymon toy. They were pretty cool.

Ohh, this is the heading for the next artwork. This one is called Searching at Shinjuku. But I see why the confusion happened, there isn't enough space between the artwork and the next heading. I'll fix that soon. Thank you, though, I'm glad you like it! Digimon Tamers is my favorite Digimon series.
