If you can't insult someone without being fatphobic or abelist youre boring, actively not using your own intelligence, and almost immediatly lose any ounce of respect or trust I have for you.
Body shaming and ableism are not and will never be woke, and this is the problem with not understanding the difference between how Black folks talk to each other and how the right co-opted a term for their own purposes.

Reminded randomly of a time when a professor told me he couldnt give me feedback because he was too focused the grammatical errors in my ROUGH DRAFT. It has me ?ing what if anything I should show him. And it makes me ruminate on the more subtle abelsit nonsense of the academe.

Opened my diss proposal today for the first time in 6 years. My proposal defense caused so much anxiety that even 6 years later I'm going to have step out for a smoke. But, honestly, reading it back, it was fine work and hazing in academia is bullshit.
