Gen Z Jews definitely have our fair share of “Zionists who don’t get the point of holocaust education.” However, between Weiss and that Obama speech writer lady Gen X is putting up numbers we’ll never top.
So Bari Weiss’s first real editorial intervention at CBS is to repress coverage of American concentration camps.

I just got back from visiting my ailing grandmother and I cannot stress enough how much trouble she would be in if not for my aunt taking care of her. I wish these folks the best of luck in their commitment to being bitter and small

You can tell Paxton is really feeling divorced because a lawsuit like this only comes from somebody bored enough to dig through the horrors of a Smart TV’s settings menu

We always watch When Harry Met Sally around New Years but I guess we’ll have to do a marathon of Reiner’s ‘84-‘92 run instead. What a loss

www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general... the most disappointing thing about this isn’t that Bill Burr was so ignorant that he took the money, it’s how goddamn gullible he’s showing himself to be now that he’s back
Bill Burr Defends Performing at Controversial Riyadh Comedy Festival: “They’re Just Like Us”
The actor-comedian details his experience at the event: "Definitely one of the top three experiences I've ever had ... I think it's going to lead to a lot of positive things."

Chuck Schumer is so allergic to good ideas that even when he needs to get revenge on Platner for saying he’d vote against him for Sen Leader, the best Spite Store candidate he can come up with is a 77 year old

Torres’ consistent standing ten toes down for Israel despite all the demographic and economic interests of his district having nothing to do with it tell me that Mossad hacked his hard drive long ago and this is the only way he keeps us from seeing the horrors within. He speaks with fear in his eye

I dislike calling movies a “cash grab” since every movie ever made in history was made to make money. Well, except Megalopolis

Marvel hasn’t put out anything as good as James Gunn’s Superman this decade, save for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, which coincidentally was already written in the prior decade.

Massive props to the junior Walmart exec who successfully pitched “we should corner the market on MicroSD Express cards and undercut Nintendo by selling double the storage for the same price.” Based off this packaging design, your power lunch with the graphic design team paid off big time!

Thoughts on my switch 2 after 24 hours

- performance is no joke
- hardware build is top notch
- the LCD screen is quite good(I still miss OLED tho)
- way too heavy for extended play before bed now
- it’s big enough and speakers are good enough that I want to use tabletop mode now

Take Sam Altman and Jony Ive out of it and you can see the obvious similarities between Humane and io are still pretty clear. I have slightly more faith in Ive to ship a product that isn’t hot garbage like, but they’re definitely pulling the annoying vague magic leap strat that has doomed so many

@reckless.bsky.social Do I recall correctly that you said you’d cop a PHEV SUV if it did 50 miles of range? If so, will you be a man of your word and return from leave one RAV4 poorer? www.theverge.com/news/671999/...

Insanity aside this seems genuinely unenforceable because it’s basically the first tariff on digital goods.
If A24 bids $5 mil for a Japanese film at a festival do they pay $10 mil for it? Are movie theaters going to have to charge double for tickets sold to Illumination movies (made in France)?
Deranged Trump is now putting a 100% tariff on movies made outside the US.

I'm no longer with Polygon. If you're hiring, please consider the many talented writers and editors now on the market. Every one of them deserves a spot on your staff. I won't be talking more about the sale because I wasn't involved.

Going to hang out with my kid. Taking wins where I can.
