Exactly. In my opinion if the pizza is about the crust, then NY style is king, and appropriately large and lightly topped. If the it's about the toppings, the Tavern style is king. The one exception I make to that hierarchy is the Detroit style, which stands alone as the greatest local innovation.

Pizza, though? Don't get me started. I grew up on Midwest tavern style, and if it isn't larger in diameter, it needs to be heavier in toppings.

A certain level, yes, because practicing in private, consensually and without harm, should be allowed regardless. That has to do with government and application law.

But this should not required of any of us individually. I am just as free to believe them fools as they are to be fools.

I always argued against this. Any culture that is toxic, even in part, deserves condemnation no matter who claims it and no matter how much it "hurts" them to hear it.

The idea that one must respect a culture was always complete bullshit. Russian culture is absolute garbage, and I mean the culture that guides them into becoming what they are.
