Literally all of this is false. 7 million people turned out, probably the largest single-day protest in American history. And at least in DC, what I saw was a hugely representative crowd, mostly with (often very clever) homemade signs.

Brazil and Argentina are the huge beneficiaries of the US tariffs on China, taking the US export share, while the Argentine operation is subsidized by US taxpayers to the tune of $40 bn (so far). It's brilliant (for China).

Ugh 😑 We have a vote coming up on Oct 7, & I’ve no clue what is going on. No mail in ballot? Why? What happens on the day? I have to read the local news and/or call City Hall Monday. Local politics matters & how many of us focus on the national level? It’s a lot, but we have to keep our eyes on Hope

I hear you. I try to take comfort in the fact that we don’t really know ourselves or each other. How free were we allowed to be? Even doodling can be discouraged in kids. And we don’t all vote or have access to the same resources. Given how fucked up everything is, it’s amazing how many people don’t

I’d love for Now to be a wake up call for the Dems. Until they face their contribution to the probs, what progress will we see? They want to keep selling the status quo as the best we can get, but Dems didn’t push for popular policies when they had the chance. Donors control them. That has to stop.
