Can you afford to release your album on vinyl?
I work for a small vinyl pressing plant, our customers are mostly independent artists doing small-run pressings. My job is advising people on how it all works.

about 10 years ago i did the FACT Mag "Against the Clock" challenge, where you have to write a song from scratch in under 10 mins
I found out from the crew that most artists got several attempts - one act took EIGHT tries - to get it right
I had two, cos on my first go a cable fell out 1 min in!
