Many congrats, Peter. That's a lovely name to be associated with.
Very enjoyable and a bit of a step up from today's GIFT offerings.
Congratulations, Henri. Well deserved, mate.
Can't join you today I'm afraid. Have done the Umpire so far - very enjoyable - albeit with a few nho's for me. The Angel is fun too!
I think that was my Easter bunny puzzle ...

though it doesn't quite match the 'filthy' description!
Are others having yet more fifteensquared problems today? Just finished the Nimrod but getting the 'This connection is not private warning'
Very enjoyable and, together with Tramp, has made for a good morning solve.
A small contribution to this: I've just finished watching Simon Anthony solve last Friday's Times crossword. He paused to wax lyrical having just solved an &lit with 'criminal' as the anagrind. As a solver, he absolutely loved it.
Ha! That sounds very familiar. I have often been unable to parse some of your own clues.
Unfortunately there is still no 225 blog on this one, mate. I shall look forward to seeing it later in the day but will record my enjoyment of the puzzle here. Well done. You got me with the third of those you have chosen to highlight.
Also awake since four. In my case, a fox barking in nearby wood. Unfortunately out of slipper range.
I'd probably stick at two tbh. Times guidance is maximum of two, one of which should be reverse.

But if they are really good ...
Sorry, Charlie. Simply doesn't work for me. There needs to be some kind of possessive link otherwise the instruction is, at best, telling me to put synonyms for those three words ahead of, presumably, something else. I don't see plurals or 'and' making your case I'm afraid.
Gosh. That is a pleasant surprise. Publishing on a Friday does not normally lead to a CS solve. I shall look forward to it.
Thanks for giving this a go, Liari. Sorry to have missed the live stream but enjoyed watching the video. And, yes, geezer is just a bloke where I come from ...
