Within 2026 most DAWs (or their flagship plugins) will open up their SDKs / scripting environments. The audio tech industry has realised that growth is possible only by building an ecosystem through User Generated Features (another term that I’m happy to coin). PFA predictions.

All the social media reels of Chinese kids even today of how they play games in sync is yet another proof of a cultural phenomenon that is all set to take over.

I remember watching the opening ceremony as a kid and telling myself, “they’re almost like robots, so perfectly orchestrated”. That was a turning point in the world economy.

Back in 2008 China showed the world how precisely humans can collaborate in sync. The performances at the Olympics weren’t just a spectacle. It was a proof that they have a population that’s not just a big number but a set of people who understand precision — prerequisite for good production.

Hello, Bluesky. We at @pracific.bsky.social would like to introduce our brand and what we do. To begin with, here are the details of the services we’ve been providing since 2022:

DaVinci Resolve is on a roll. Apple revealed their new standard Apple Spatial Audio Format (ASAF) just a few months ago at WWDC25, and Resolve 20.1 already supports it. Much before DAWs! (What?) Here’s more cool stuff from the release notes.

YouTube introduces Hype, a new way to promote a video. A good alternative when your app UI cannot support “Reposts”.

Pimp My Soundly lets you customize colors, backgrounds and more, right from the settings menu. More personalization options are on the way – only available to users who’ve been riding with us for a year or more. Update your Soundly to start pimping it: getsoundly.com

Most community building initiatives are legacy-driven too. That’s why they either turn into talent management or paywalled-education business or never make the impact that they could.
prashantmishra.bsky.social
You cannot be a good teacher or mentor if you’re doing so for legacy. Your name should stay irrelevant — that’s not just a good-to-have feature, but rather the core prerequisite to begin with. The run for legacy holds teachers back from allowing their students to become better than themselves.
prashantmishra.bsky.social
So you need people to have a little bit of practice to “use their brains”, instead of getting used to having everything just present for them all the time.

I have a hunch that the camera modes in iOS26 are kept hidden as part of developing a new human behaviour of remembering stuff. When AR glasses come into the equation, the UI isn’t just within the boundaries of the phone. It can be anywhere.

If you're a member of the Recording Academy, submission information is here: www.grammy.com/news/2026-gr...

If you would like to submit via G.A.N.G., please read the GRAMMY submission information page here: www.audiogang.org/grammy-submi...

4. If you are a member of G.A.N.G., GANG can make a submission on your behalf. There is a passthrough fee for doing so, which is what the Recording Academy charges G.A.N.G. for each submission, plus a $15 processing fee

prashantmishra.bsky.social
3. If you published your soundtrack through a traditional music label, they can probably submit; there may be a fee for that.

…here are 4 ways you can make a GRAMMY submission:

1. If you are a member of the Recording Academy, you can submit yourself for free

2. If you are not a member of the RA, you can have someone who is submit on your behalf (there may be a fee associated with that)
