My wife is starting an art business! 🎨 A story of how you can just do things.

In November last year Jowi and I went to @ViennaComicCon on a date. We wanted to see the nerd scene of Austria in one place

We also found the "Artist Alley" where people sell their arts & crafts ✨

First order of my wife's art business kyoti.art arrived at its destination today!

It's amazing to see people be so excited about receiving their order. A whole different rush!

Just remembered my very first programming experience.

NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 stored all its car models with .ini files in a cars/ folder.

This INI files had things like acceleration rate and max speed defined per vehicle.

You could just edit them. I won every race 😤

Found mine! Behold! 🥳

My drawings and designs, inspired by Ocarina of Time.

Not sure on how old I was. 🤔

They're in two different booklets, and the item drawing style is more advanced in one of them. About 6 is my best estimate, as this would coincide with when I first got to play the game.

Also this may be yet another failed attempt, but since I've spent a lot of time recently promoting my wife's art business (btw, go buy stickers from https://kyoti.art) maybe I can also be a bit more active again on socials myself.

Anyone ever have this thing where your brain is like 3 paragraphs ahead of the words that are coming out of your mouth and then you stumble over your words like an idiot?

It's been happening /a lot/ recently. 🙃

I now officially disqualify for any sort of youth discount whatsoever in Austria. I'm afraid my age is finally catching up to me.

Nevertheless, happy 28 to me! 🥳

Is anyone else here an extremely inconsistent gamer when it comes to difficulty?

Like I really enjoy the FromSoft catalog. I will happily bash my head against Malenia and Isshin for 100+ times if need be. (fuk u malenia 🥲)

Then I play SH2:R.

Combat difficulty? ✨easy🙆‍♂️
Puzzle difficulty? 👹H̸A̵R̵D̴👹

For today's ramble: After a wild 3 months of ✨drama✨, I finally made it back to the gym on Wednesday

I wasn't prepared for the DOMS that would hit my lower back afterwards. Absolutely debilitating

I'm fine now, but it's very humbling seeing a bunch of kids run past you while you can barely move 😁

Woah, suddenly I'm at 600 followers here! No idea how, when and why, but hello to you all!

I hope you enjoy my eclectic mix of every day rambles, occasional code talk and trying to do better every day!

I specifically bought the disc-based version of my PS5, because I prefer to have local copies of my games around that I can touch.

Why do they all still require numerous gigabytes of downloads!? Why have we given up on discs as storage medium?

Let me have my game on shiny round things!

Oh no! @ludumdare.com won't be running in 2025 due to issues that it's organizer, the amazing @distraction.engineer, is facing

LD is a huge, important part of the gamedev scene and it's what first inspired me to be a programmer
