((i know this isnt a substitute for showering but it can be a 'buffer' for until youre ready to do a full shower, and/or it can sometimes help the brain understand that "it's actually okay to get wet now" or "showering is actually not as hard/scary/draining after all")) 🌞❤️

if you're super low on energy/spoons, taking a full shower can be too much, but doing similar steps to reach a similar goal can be easier. for instance wash the body with a wash cloth with water+soap, use dry shampoo for hair, deodorant/perfume for smell, etc.

i personally get motivated to shower when doing it together with someone (either physically or "in spirit") - so for shower it could be to physically shower with my partner (if visiting) or decide to shower at the same time (if long-distance) which can be done with friends/family too.

Panel 4: From off-panel Twink shouts "GLITTER!!!" while his hand throws glitter unto a very startled Hal. Glitter fills the air and room.

Panel 5: Hal whips his head around to try and see who just covered him with glitter and startled him - only to spot a joyful Twink, arms open and a happy, sunny 'aura' around him, going in for a hug!

Panel 6: The warm, bright aura envelops both men as Twink hugs Hal from behind and Hal reciprocates the hug by holding onto Twink's arms and shoulder. They both look content and in love, Hal giving Twink a sad, yet hopeful smile, while Twink has a calm, warm and loving expression on his face.
