Walked through Philadelphia’s Italian Market today after a long absence. Great to see old faces and new places! But sad that some mainstays gone too. Still think it’s the best street in Philly 😻

Every NYE there is a Twilight Zone marathon on TV and I think I’m going to propose a course at Rutgers where we just watch episodes of the Twilight Zone and do readings based on them. I mean it covers almost all of human psychology! Maybe this year I just should go for it…

Christmas Eve Feast of seven fishes here in Philly. It’s an Italian American thing with origins in southern Italy. We substitutes sushi for bacala because no one in my family likes salted cod! But we had salmon, flounder, crab, clam, scallop, and shrimp.
