Other lecturers in my department have always had low attendance in general—I contend b/c of lecture capture.
Since I do active/experiential learning without “lecturing”, lecture capture is useless. The assessment is based on the activities. Students showed up.

Federal immigration officers shot and killed another person in Minneapolis on Saturday. Video from bystanders show he was wrestled to the ground by six federal officers before 10 shots rang out.

Solidarity to @northumbriauni.bsky.social staff, told they must move to a pension scheme widely considered worse or face a pay freeze (against UK-wide bargaining). United as unions, they can beat it (& deter other employers from trying similar). Post those ballots, & join if you’re not a member!
