Disney fans will recognize Jerry Goldsmith as the composer of the Soarin' Over California soundtrack. According to the Imagineers at the #D23 #DCA25 panel last weekend, Goldsmith jumped at the chance to score the new attraction as he was a native Californian and an aviation fan.

OK, the Liquid IV ad is funny, but as a Scouter who hydrated through 12 years of summer camps and weekend campouts, it's also a tad misleading. Our camp rule was simple: 1) if your pee is yellow, you need to drink more water; 2) if you drink ANYTHING but water, drink 2c of water to keep hydrated.

DHS repeatedly said that an aggressive apartment raid in Chicago last fall was prompted by intel on a gang takeover.

New documents show the real story behind the raid was to target alleged squatters — with the landlord's blessing.

Disneyland likes to say its California Resident discount offer, at $249 for three days, is only $83 per day. But if you add the daily parking rate of $40 per vehicle (divided by how many visitors your vehicle carries), the cost for one person becomes $123 per day, or $369 for three days w/ parking.
