I have a really hard time imagining a TTRPG campaign or system that *isn't* improved by the PCs having some kind of (in Told by Wild Words lingo) shared asset.

This might be a vehicle like a ship (sea- or space-faring), a home base or town, or a faction they belong to or command.

A mutual aid group Im working with recently planned to do a hat drive and put out a call to knitting/crochet groups in the area (it turns out there are tons) to make winter hats to be given out at distro, I just love the idea so much

The shallower rooms of the depth crawl have more exits, deeper ones have fewer until they have none, and youre in the final room

The dungeon generator is also just one modular piece of the game that can be left out. We ran a DCC funnel with the rest of the system and still had a great time

The dungeon generator in Murderhobos works well enough that we shifted to playing GMless in playtests. It uses a short depth crawl where you eventually reach a final room, containing a treasure or other objective

I've heard that Cyberpunk Red did a stripped down generified equipment list compared to previous editions, which was met to mixed responses. I think what makes the most sense is for equipment list length to match the crunch level of the game

We’re about to reach our final stretch goal which means I’ve started working on the first adventure for Dungeon Wilds! Here’s a sneak peek at what I’m thinking for the cover art:

Another big inspiration for Murderhobos is a post on the DnD Horror Stories subreddit. A DM, probably pretty young, was complaining about playing with his childhood friends. They rejected the plot hooks of the adventure module he had prepared, and killed all plot relevant NPCs over percieved slights
