Randle gives 0 f’s about defensive effort, and unfortunately, I give more than 0 f’s about his 0 f’s.

Losing the best goalkeeper in the league on a free is just colossally bad business. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.
Once a Loon, always a Loon

i will fully admit to doing no analysis on this take. Just eye and feel that His chaos is the opposite of what they need and emblematic of the mentality that makes the team so fragile.

feel like Donte is the synergistic combination of Finchs blindspot/weakness for continuity don’t upset the apple cart and if you pull him his fragile ego will break and he’ll be even more worthless for a month.

when he has played he answered those questions plainly…he’s not good enough. At best Sammy 2.0.

There's more to come from the midfield maestro.

The club has signed midfielder Joaquín Pereyra to a contract extension through 2028, with a club option for 2029.

This is a really good explainer with great graphs. I knew the pay for the W was bad and the pay gap between men and women disturbingly large, but this little factoid really got me:
“Walt Frazier and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar received more dollars in the early 1970s than top W.N.B.A. stars get today.” 🤯
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

“By many measures, it’s been the most successful season in league history” for the WNBA, David Berri, a sports economist, writes. “But the players aren’t fully sharing in that success.”
Opinion | The W.N.B.A. Is Making More Money Than Ever. Why Aren’t the Players?
Other professional sports leagues give their players roughly 50 percent of the revenue, but the W.N.B.A. players get less than 10 percent.

So….two of the most successful coaches in League history call out officiating inconsistency & the next games the opposing teams get 3x & 2.5x more free throws…sounds like?!? #wnba needs to do better!

“That’s interesting “
Cheryl Reeve is responsible for why they are talking about the inconsistency of W officials at half time. A’ja was so measured in her comments today and I’m glad, because I don’t want anyone else to get punished for pointing out the shitshow that is W officiating.

I don't think it's a coincidence that when she was in a situation that was more about flash + spectacle than team synergy, and had nothing really meaningful on the line-the WNBA All Star game--Phee finished 11th among the 22 stars in minutes played (19) while scoring 36 points. Next highest was 21.
There wasn't a wrong choice for WNBA-MVP between Aja Wilson and Napheesa Collier--both had phenomenal seasons. But one of the few ways I prefer the W over the NBA is the more organic, team-oriented mindset to winning. Phee's comprehensive skill set--she's more versatile than Aja--epitomizes that.

Ramsay emphatically answered that…but I don’t think it’s the right answer looking at the rest of the season.
