I became a sales assistant in a craft store and later the branch manager there and learned how to use Photoshop and InDesign. Loved it! Then boom, got a lymphedema - my career was over. I found a job in an office. My hours were cut, so now I'm looking for work again. It's very stressful right now.

Wire coil punch and binding machine, and a corner rounder with die swapped out (half moon to allow for the hanging wire).
Took quite a bit of experimenting/figuring things out but happy with doing these myself to get the size and options I wanted!

This piece is special… there’s a story behind it. I went on a #fungi foraging foray in Pacific Spirit park a couple of years ago (which is where I took the pic this piece is based on). The instructor told me lots of fungi react to UV light and if you use some kinds of UV reactive fungi to dye wool..
