I'm Psy, a hobby artist and amateur naturalist from Switzerland. To craft with different materials is a big love of mine. My speciality are little mushroom lamps. But I also dare to draw dragons and animal people.

I took out my dollhouse and dusted everything off. In addition to Grandma Fox, the little dolls from Japan now also live in the house. These little things just make me happy <3

Took a little hike at my parents place, had a wonderful sunny weather! Found dead things too, but took nothing with me. The hornet nest was too wet and the bone parts still too gooey... Will come back another time and hope everything is still there.

Worked on new nushroom lamps together with my dad. We enjoy each others company by crafting, that's our thing. And my dad got all the nice tools.

Even though I still have plenty of mushroom lamps for sale and my space in my room is allready cramped.

That's my second selfmade head and I did everything myself. Every bit of it. Each tooth and even the eyes are casted and painted by myself. I made the head with cobracast, a thermoplast. That I liked most. I hated the sewing part xD

Please excuse the radio silence, I was in Osaka, Japan, for two weeks and just got back home today. Still totally exhausted and slightly under the weather. Unpacking the loot was my favourite exercise today <3

A beige coral-like formation, very delicate. Grows from the ground covered with pine needles. Another curiosity, it looks like some kind of underwater plant or coral. Also whitish on a needle-covered ground. A white and very fluffy-looking mushroom on a rotting tree trunk. It looks like a patch of fur. A mushroom in a typical coral shape, beige in colour and beautifully grown. One might think that the many ray-like arms were small turrets and rooms of an imaginative fairy castle. The ground is covered in leave litter.

I do customs! I recently did one with a color gradient. People can choose color, cable or batterie solution and how many mushrooms and so on.

A fly agaric mushroom with a colour gradient from red to orange at the edge. The mushroom is growing in the forest on pine needles. A typical fly agaric, bright red with lots of white spots. It is still young and its cap is still spherical. It stands on a small carpet of moss. A large fly agaric mushroom, tomato red in colour and with practically no white spots. It grows on a dead tree stump. Another typical fly agaric, straight out of a picture book. I think it will grow a little bigger, but it already looks perfect. The view is from above, looking down on the cap. It grows on forest soil with moss.

Today, Fen and I visited the forest we know that has the most mushrooms. This is a highlight for me every year and a great pleasure. An event I wouldn't want to miss.

After almost two years, I have finally picked up a pen and paper again. It stresses me out that I still haven't found a new job, but the new “free time” seems to be reviving my creative spirit. Drawn on paper and colored digitally. I love the stamps in Photoshop!

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to make promotional gifts for an outdoor wholesaler. I made 20 mushrooms (without lights) in a short period of time. I worked my butt off, but it was worth it. Each one unique.

When my brain doesn't stop to worry and start to overthink things I need calm and comforting thoughts. There's always the same fantasy making me sleep x3 I still need about an hour to fall asleep though. I'm not an easy sleeper.

The client requested two red mushrooms and one orange mushroom. I thought a color gradient would be nicer—from orange to red. It's for the wall and works with batteries.

It looks so nice in nature, these photos are poorly.

A candy that is mainly available in Europe. I don't know if it's available in your country. In any case, the name of the candy is a perfect pun on Fen: Toffifee, I just replaced the last E with an N. Tastes like sweetened chicken. A rancid sweetened chicken ;)
