if you happen to have a fan and can bear with sleeping with air flowing I can recommend having it blowing over or circulating air around your bed, we use that in mosquito season bc mosquitos are horrible at dealing with moving air so they can't go snack

I've noticed lots of retailers have started using 'tape-free' glue-sealed cardboard boxes without traditional seams that they expect you to rip open, which almost feels like a return deterrent

equal loudness is relative to amplitude, amplitude is pressure, for the same pressure differential at half the frequency you need twice the excursion, your bass amp needs to move like 10x as much air physically to keep up even before human hearing factors in

for smokers even 100 or lower sometimes (I wonder if chronic inflammation or scarring from smoke damage makes the vocal cords heavier)

but they still read female because of the short vocal tract, which we can replicate with control over the muscles placing our larynx

as a musician I take pitch for granted a lot and forget that a lot of people don't actually distinguish between pitch and timbre when listening to voices and a different timbre can trick people into thinking they're hearing a different pitch, but female resting pitches can be as low as 110hz
