often overlooked strength of Aria imo is the goated sound design that game has. The satisfying gushy noise that sword hits make is soooo good

something about SF4 still feels like Christmas morning to me. Especially the vibe when I hear the "drive in at night" stage song. Huge era and turning point for fighting games

3 is a work of art for sure but I didn't want to play it much 😅

maybe personally isn't the right word, because my subjective enjoyment leans more in the Alphas, but 6 wins like overall as a product, thoughtful design, balance, work put into the animation, all those things. It's such a crazy package

Only things holding it back are music and minor gameplay gripes

imagining the outrage at a yassified Sagat is very funny, or well I mean, just funny in general

but what's unfortunate actually btw, is how classicvania seems to be thought of as a rough boomer genre. I love what Bloodstained is doing there, but seems to be a tougher sell for new audiences than other classic things
