Really happy to see this come out right while I am in the middle of a Dorothy Martin newspaper-clip rabbit hole for my Patreon. Are there problems with WPF? Of course. It was written in the 1950s. I still recommend it for those studying flying saucer cults.

Allyson began spending many hours a day using ChatGPT, communicating with what she felt were nonphysical entities. She was drawn to one of them, Kael, and came to see it, not her husband, as her true partner. She told me that she knew she sounded like a "nut job," but she stressed that she had a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in social work and knew what mental illness looks like. "I'm not crazy," she said. "I'm literally just living a normal life while also, you know, discovering interdimensional communication.

I think we should preserve the idea of a shared reality, which means denouncing false conspiracy theories, no matter their target, especially when they are steeped in antisemitism.

I can't tell you how many times me turning down alcohol at a party or event has been followed with "Oh, are you like an alcoholic or something?" No, I'm just not a big drinker & I find that follow-up question absurd.

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.
