I'm horrified to learn of the mass shooting in the heart of Chicago's downtown last night. My thoughts are with the victims and everyone who was touched by gun violence. This is yet another reminder of the urgent need to address the gun crisis in our nation.

I can't believe we even have to say this, but swastikas, nooses, and other hate emblems aren't "potentially divisive." They're symbols of terror and should continue to be banned by our troops.
