Hi! First post here obviously has to be a picture of my cat.

Please don't be offended if you follow me and I don't follow back. My ability to engage with strangers is sketchy at the best of times and these are not the best of times.
I came home from Brussels with Flemish germs 🤧. Phlegmish.

NOTHING for infrastructure or health should be for profit. And if transport turns a profit, the sole shareholder and recipient of dividends should be Gov PLC.

Are we placing bets as to whether today's mystery announcement from Tangerine Palpatine will be him stepping down?

Things aren't going to get better over there with the couch 🍆er and his puppetmaster, Thiel, running the show.

Anyone who has studied WW2 history knows that the Brownshirts were a key part of the Nazi plan to gain control of Germany. Let's not let that sort of fascist, racist bullshit take hold in the UK.

Shout out to those who are in STEM and also owned by cats. I trained as a chemist and I spend my day job pretending to be both a chemical engineer and an IT professional.

Labour are not supposed to be about punishing the most vulnerable members of our society. Can we not just tax fucking billionaires so we can treat people with grace & humanity?

Nigel Farage has said that term limits for abortion need to be reduced. His party is currently leading in the polls.

Now is the time for all of us to get behind the movement to protect abortion rights in UK law.

Worth bearing in mind that Polity follows a robust coding process and this conclusion will have been reached by multiple coders.

They're not characterising early Trump II as an executive coup on a whim but based on clear, empirically rooted and long-standing criteria.
If you've ever used the Polity data, read this from Monty Marshall.

tl;dr Polity is coding recent US events as an executive self-coup and an adverse regime change.
