the landmark buildings outside my apartment backlit by the red light of the dawn cars full of miserable people driving to work at fuck you o'clock in the morning, red cast barely peeking out from behind the mountains underexposed image of hawk sitting atop a street lamp, i like the silhouettes mistimed shot through a chain link fence of the running track at the nearby stadium bowl, the insane people running at this hour are obscured by the link, but i'm also insane for being up and taking pictures at this uncivilized hour.

picked up some new family members. the leatherette on the k1000 is a little scuffed but it appears to work otherwise. the cm-4 has a stuck mirror that i may or may not be able to fix, but the lenses look to be worth the price of admission anyway.

a statue of the buddha in the neighbors' front yard, late in the day and crossed by long, sharp shadows, flanked by a coterie of christmas companions. same buddha, same yard, sparkling with christmas cheer or the understanding that christmas cheer does not exist independently of its causes.

some creatures i discovered in the neighborhood, gold 200. somehow i managed to get some detritus in the film chamber of the camera, i think, so there's some lines on the photos where the red and green emulsion was scraped off.
