sobriety and clear light sets in. You've made an arse of things and yourself, you're having to do a pretty indepth cleanup job and you realise that actually, certain things are the way they are because they're actually true. That and certain things are actually pretty false and hollow.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

dear reader, was a final nail in the coffin. If a so-called 'talented' / pro artist could see zero value, then why was I wasting the time effort and work? I felt and still feel like barren soil. A plant cannot grow without water or sunlight and that sunlight was nonexistant for me, sad to say. <c>

disappointment, of wrought effort for little, a waste of time even. I suppose an example of the curse "long may you labour in vain". These days, even just picking up a pencil or a pen to do art/draw/sketch seems such a ginormous task and my bandwidth, amongst everything else in how badly my life <c>

newlearnt skills, maybe they panned out or maybe they didn't but either way, the court of public artistry basically decried that I wasn't even worthy of interacting with / constructive assisting or even just social/banter with. So, the little knack I had, I dropped. It became just a symbol of <c>

by talking to or meeting new 'fellow artists', not even constructive criticism or giving a leg up to someone new on the proverbial road, so it were to speak. Just often cold silence. I mean god, even some hate posts would have meant something by the end of it [how bad must it have got for that <C>

It was the eerie silence, the being ignored that got me. See, I used to sketch odd little scenes and took part in Inktober before it went bad. Id post on a dusty old Insta and Facebook, do the tags and catch up each day. But nothing. Very few likes. And certainly no interaction, no 'finding joy' <C>
