‘Runaways: Think of the Children’ is a perfect relaunch with no followup
These runaways have to run away... again! Can you believe it?

BEST BOOK? BEST BOOK.
Today only, and I think US only, my World Fantasy Award winning Victorian sentimental novel about dragons who eat each other is on sale for $2.99 as an ebook

There's also a super-cute mini-hardback

BROKEN COUNTRY by Clare Leslie Hall
is the one I keep thinking about.

But also OUTLAWED by Anna North is a knockout!

I told myself that I couldn't scroll in my living room, and now I've read more books in a month than I did all last year. W I L D.

WHAT IF ... Black Widow still had this hairstyle? (Don't worry, Wolverine gives her a haircut in the middle of this issue, with his claws.)

Here's another What If? where Doom shows up in face bandages and full-length jacket and hood, and Ben Grimm calls him a "preppy dork." (man-staring-at-butterfly meme: "is this preppy?")

This is great reporting and a compelling read.
At the end of Donald Trump’s first year back in office, roughly 300,000 fewer Americans worked for the government. Franklin Foer spoke with 50 federal employees who were either fired or forced out: theatln.tc/XfKtWRqe

You can ABSOLUTELY come to one of these events to talk comics. We talked She-Hulk and Runaways on my last tour. The themes that I cover in comics tend to overlap with the themes of my books.

I'm also really excited to talk to people about Slow Dance. You don't get to talk about a book until the NEXT tour. I still feel like I haven't gotten to go deep on Cary and Shiloh.
Hey, I'm going on tour for Cherry Baby! Tickets on sale now. I'll sign anything you buy at the store and one book or three comics from home. Get your tickets soon; at larger events, I'm only signing for the first 300 people who register. EXCITED TO SEE YOU 🍒 www.harpercollins.com/pages/cherry...

I'm really looking forward to this tour. My last two tours were special in a way that surprised me. They felt like very intense book clubs, where we all came to really DIG IN to the books. The questions were as likely to be about Attachments or Pumpkinheads as one of my more recent books.

WHY was he doing that voice????
I watched Peggy Sue Got Married for the first time last night, and thought a lot about how people who saw that movie in 1986 might not have realized that Nicolas Cage was doing an INCREDIBLY STRANGE voice.

It’s shocking how much these ai freaks hate existing as a human. We should probably not let people who fundamentally hate being human guide our future. Food for thought.

The most troubling thing about The Family Stone is how often an event takes place at breakfast and then the characters seem to still be immediately reacting to it after dark. Entire days disappear. I'm to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker's character spent HOURS soaked in raw eggs?
