Took a train to Peja where I visited a monastery (and was shown around by a kind nun), then the next day bussed to Gjakova where I spent time with Ruzhdi Qarri (a well known woodworker / craftsman) who took time showing me his work and family history, and one bus later I'm now in Prizren.

Wandered around the cathedral that was unfinished due to the war and the national library voted "ugliest building" (I kinda like it!). Then took a bus to Skenderaj and walked to Prekaz to visit the Adem Jashari house and memorial (well worth reading up on).

Spent all day manually drawing scales on a character. Wondered if there was a brush that'd achieve the same thing. Found a couple of brush packs, and discovered one that was perfect. Redid the scales in like 10 minutes and the character looked WAY better.
Good to know I've wasted the day. 🙃

I think I need to spend more time on sketches, rather than just slapping down vague shapes and then rawdogging the lineart.
Did all the lineart for character A, but then realised there was no way to make character B nor the background work from the same angle in the space I had.
