I was a kid in the 90s too and all those evangelical/small government young Republican types I knew ended up being open white nationalist types as soon as orgs like TPUSA made it more acceptable. Maybe she was earnest but that can blind you to the bigotry around you if it’s more understated.

My parents' generation was super racist, but they took pains to hide it from us. So a lot of young conservatives in the 90s and early aughts were earnest small government and/or evangelical types.
As I said, the overt racists and radicals had to form their own orgs.

I'm confident a manual laborer from any time in history wouldn't have any trouble understanding a do-nothing loudmouth getting rich off an industry he has no technical understanding of. I'm quite sure they wouldn't take his side in a class war.

Made my wife Marcella Hazan’s bean soup recipe. Very delicious for only taking like 15 minutes.

Whir Born Soup (continued)
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
I teaspoon chopped garlic
2 cups dried cannellini or other white beans, soaked and cooked as directed on page 13 and drained, or 6 cups canned cannellini beans,
1 cup Basic Homemade Me
Broth, prepared as direct on page 15, oR ⅓ cup canned beef broth dilured with ⅔ cup water
2 tablespoons chopped panie
OPTIONAL: thick grilled sics crusty bread

Black pepper, ground fresh from the mill
1. Put the oil and chopped garlic in a soup pot and turn on the ta medium. Cook the garlic, stirring it, until it becomes colored a very ple
2. Add the drained cooked or canned beans, a pinch of salt, and il grindings of pepper. Cover and simmer gently for 5 to 6 minutes.
3. Take about ½ cup of beans from the pot and purée them tho food mil ack into the pot, together with all the broth. Simmer for ad 5 to 6 minutes, taste, and correct for salt and pepper. Swirl in the dop parsley, and turn off the heat.
4. Ladle over the grilled bread slices into individual soup bouts
