Canonically, the Muppets are a bunch of Dirty Hippies who just want to Put On a Show. After their Hollywood Days they probably *moved to Portland* and built a community theater in partnership with Reed College.

They wouldn’t just be behind the protests, they’d be down there with them.

I need Schilling, Yonder or Seattle Cider to sponsor the Gabriel Universe so we can get MALIGNANT 2.

Apropos of Nothing, I am reminded of being excited about Monica Bellucci in SPECTRE and being utter disappointed at how she was used in the movie.

Honestly - SHE should've been revealed as Blofeld!

There are other ways to listen to a DEATHSTALKER movie?!
randyofaftimes.bsky.social
RIGHT?!

And it was looking GOOD.

Now I'm reminiscing about a New Bev Fantasy Marathon they did with...

BARBARIAN QUEEN
DEATHSTALKER 2
THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER
CONAN THE BARBARIAN

and a midnight showing of YOR-HUNTER FROM THE FUTURE.

VERY frustrating, especially as I was able to hit the one-night-only screening of RED SONJA recently.

I NEEDZ me my fantasy movies- NOW MORE THAN EVER!

Apologies... I DO normally Alt text. Mea Culpa.

ALSO a 2nd Mea Culpa, as I thought you were asking about ANOTHER skeet I just answered about vampires.

This is Julie Carmen in FRIGHT NIGHT II (1988)
I WISH I could find better photos of her.

Nothing against this version, but I'm tuning into the Multiverse Streaming for the version Badham directed starring Raul Julia...

Would that I could - only playing in ONE theater in my state.

While I'm happy that it's least getting some kind of theatrical screening, I'm more than a little frustrated that #Deathstalker is only playing in ONE THEATER in my state!

I got to see it in '89 at a rundown theater on Hollywood Blvd.

Somehow, the perfect setting...

Thank you!

My goto is usually Monica Bellucci from BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA.

But Julie Carmen SLAYS it as Regine!

I've been drawing a lot of embracing couples lately

Those who know KNOW, but I think there is less talk about how THE HITCHER (1986) was/is so great and terrifying.

A gorgeous nightmare of a movie with Rutger Hauer so chilling and solid work by C. Thomas Howell & Jennifer Jason Leigh.

A movie I saw twice opening weekend JUST for that 3rd Act...

throwing this prompt from Twitter in here. what examples you got?
tweet by @Caol_MacCormaic that reads, uncs of film twitter: what are some movies that are canonical now but were basically unknown when we were coming up? like Come and See or Possession. inversely: what are some movies or filmmakers that seem to have fallen off? (Takashi Miike comes to mind)
