Pressing his fingers into his temples, Ash groaned. He hadn’t expected the spiraling dread or the beginning of a tension headache pounding between his brows. It changed nothing—at least, he thought it changed nothing—but he couldn’t shake the feeling that, maybe, it did. The possibility that all the little eccentricities he’d noticed weren’t mere coincidences grew, the picture they painted so painful to consider that Ash had to sink down to the ground and curl up to fend off the angry tears. He took a long moment to wipe at his heated face, chewing on his lower lip, to calm down enough to pick himself up.

Stop freaking out. Figure out what he does. Tenya could be right.

Opening the door with a frustrated huff, it shifted to an angry shout as soon as Ash laid eyes on the hunched over blond. “Faysal, what the hell are you doing?!”

And an additional, related fact- Ash is the only exception to Faysal's ban of that nickname, and while Ash will often tease him about his reading, he'll do it in a way that supports it rather then putting it down once he learned about this history.
