Nice to see things ramping up on this app. Mildly curious how this place picks up the pieces of what's left on the "other site."

As for me, I tend to post about cinema, horror games, apocalyptic ephemera etc. etc.

Also my cats, and occasional snapshots of life in the PNW.

Glad you're here.

These are the voyages...

This is a special commemorative (100,000 sold) model of a range of all-in-one computers manufactured by Sharp.

Feels particularly appropriate for a graphic of the Enterprise on its screen. Keyboard... How quaint..

J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Vol. I (1990) by Interplay was an RPG for PCs. Volume I covered the journey from Bag End to Rivendell and gave players the freedom to explore and interact with the world of Middle Earth while avoiding the Dark Lord's creatures! (a ringbearer's thread)

The limited colour palette of the NES gives these old games a distinct look and feel…

Here’s Shadow of the Ninja from 1990.

Play NORCO wherever you can find it.
Had the chance to play NORCO myself on a Steam Deck and can confirm it runs well. We added features to make things more comfortable, like using buttons to quickly cycle through selectables, and supporting both dpad & joystick for cursor control. There are a number of font options available as well.

I’d say “go watch the movie”, but do folks even do that anymore? If it’s not press and play?

Udo Kier, a great actor. RIP

Posting this because I am a 90s kid at heart and I will never escape that.
