Honestly seems like I’m seeing more Frankenstein fanart in just the few weeks since the movie came out than the whole of all Shape of Water fanart after all these years which tbh I think does reveal the shallow young-hot-people bias ppl still have even in alternative communities like monster fucking

Saw a trailer for a new Star Trek show and man I just wish there wasn’t like a set style that every live action Trek has to follow. If you’re going for a different tone you shouldn’t look the same as the gritty, heavy plot only Trek series. Like it’s fine to look cuter and less flashy.
