October update #2!

I read Black Flame by @scumbelievable.bsky.social and The Reformatory by @tananarivedue.bsky.social both of which were incredible in completely different ways.

I went to Fright Nights at the PNE which was really fun and watched The Substance which was something 😂

For my first week of October I:

Started reading “Model Home” by @riverssolomon.bsky.social

Watched “A Quiet Place Day One”

And passed by this epic Halloween display!

I love Solomon’s writing and Model Home so far is no exception. The suspense is building! AQPDO wasn’t really horror 🤷🏻‍♀️

The bizarre comment about dirty back rooms of shame sounds rather stigmatizing and is rather confusing.

It certainly isn’t cute to put down other providers as if that’s a compliment.

All in all this is just a bit patronizing isn’t it? As if it’s surprising I can read and write?
