What Arteta said to his players on Monday morning to try and break the "pressure bubble"

But is Arteta's "intensity" and desire for control now something that needs to be tempered - especially in attack? Has he come to a realisation?

Arsenal, Mikel Arteta and the ‘fear of failure’ they are trying to banish
Arsenal players were encouraged to speak up about how they were feeling as Arteta looks to prevent a recent blip in their Premier League title race from snowballing

Man, I bet the NRA is going to be furious when they hear that jack-booted thugs from the federal government executed a law-abiding citizen for exercising his Second Amendment right to carry a handgun.

Any second now, I'm sure.

He was a white guy, if that helps?

Hello? NRA?

It’s a real shame that Nigel Farage is too unwell to do interviews the morning after Donald Trump threatens us with sanctions.

Here he is with “the bravest man he ever met”. He campaigned to make Trump President, and has spent the last year enjoying all the chaos he has caused.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

Rep. @AOC: I understand that Vance believes shooting a young mother of three in the face three times is an acceptable America that he wants to live in, and I do not. That is a fundamental difference between Vance and I. I do not believe that the American people should be assassinated in the street.

The first episode of The Chair Company has some lovely elements but I feel like it lost its way after that. Shame, Tim Robinson is always watchable

We are sad to hear that the distinguished photographer Martin Parr has died. In 2002 we asked him to direct the video for our song “London” and he made a short film which was instantly recognisable as his work. We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends. Neil and Chris xx

Farage stood in front of a billboard during the Brexit referendum campaign, showing a crowd of black and brown faces apparently “invading” Britain

Nigel Farage has a race problem
The school stories, the admiration for Enoch Powell and comments about the “US Jewish lobby” all hang over Farage - and make him unelectable

What an obsequious, toadying, servile, brown-nosing, corrupt little cunt Gianni Infantino is.

The FIFA 'peace prize' is the most cringe-worthy, pathetic thing I've ever seen in my life.

Football deserves better than this travesty of a ceremony and ruling body.

This is full of mildly astonishing revelations about right-wing influence at the BBC, but foremost among them is the fact that he was advised that writing for the New Statesman was effectively unacceptable but doing so for the Spectator was fine - indeed, advisable. I am flabbergasted.
The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

Care homes closed and vulnerable people abandoned.

We cannot let Trump’s America become Farage’s Britain.
