The idea that we must never challenge party incumbents is inconsistent with the idea of a "big tent party." A big tent means people will disagree & people need an outlet to do that.
I get the feeling that "big tent" really means: "My faction does what we want and you shut up and go along with it."

What never made sense about the Democratic Party was that it's a "big tent" Party but yet incumbents (e.g., Joe Biden) felt entitled to retain the nominations to their offices. Primaries should be the norm, esp. in a big tent. Otherwise you get the gerontocracy problem we have currently.

Trump winning again flipped a switch in many Democratic voters' brains. They (we) are sick of ineffective go-along-to-get-along leadership.
Zohran’s win showed that the establishment’s grip is loosening. If this is the way they want to cement their removal in history, so be it. It’s unfortunate that so many people will suffer as a result of their cowardice. We demand new, young, leaders who aren’t afraid to continue to fight for us!
If Dems cave on the mere PROMISE of a vote, those Dems that cave will need to be run out of office, primary the fuck out of them and LEADERSHIP for not being able to fucking lead. This is getting stupid with these constant losses because of shit leadership.
