The thing about a war is it forces people to pick a side. And Donald Trump, it seems to many in Europe, is siding with Vladimir Putin.
Trump’s America is Putin’s ally now
Europe and Ukraine are learning how little the U.S. cares, as the new president aligns himself with their greatest enemy.

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.

Breaking: Romanian media are reporting that the Constitutional Court is considering canceling Sunday's presidential elections that saw far-right candidate Calin Georgescu end up first in the polls. A vote can be annulled if the "voting and the establishment of the results took place by fraud."
It seems all but certain that a candidate without a party, favored by Russia, spouting anti-semitic and far-right ideology outsmarted the media, pollsters and analysts to confidently enter the second round of the Romanian presidential elections.
As votes continue to be counted, PM Ciolacu remains in the lead. But it appears independent candidate Calin Georgescu is poised to advance to the second round. Georgescu’s far-right sympathies rival, if not surpass, those of AUR's Simion, incl. controversial stances on Romanian history and Ukraine.
